Check out this sweet little guy.

He makes my job *so* easy – not only is he just naturally a charmer, but he smiles really easily for photos (or really for anything).  It’s hard to take a bad picture of him!

He turned the big ONE year old this month, so we wanted to be sure this portrait showed some fun and personality – after all the photo was going on his party invitation!

We used a custom monster hat, created in collaboration with April at A Lot of Loops in his signature colors of navy blue and straight up   green (yes, he has signature colors).

For his party, we included some monster-themed elements, like a monster cake (ahem – I’m a photographer, not a cake-decorator)  ,

some balloons and stuff.

And the birthday guy had on his monster shoes and monster track jacket

I’m not sure who was more in to the monsters – mama or the birthday boy!
